Skoda Auto India has just announced significant reduction on the prices of the Kylaq SUV, owing to the new GST 2.0 reforms. Ex-showroom prices have gone

down by as much as Rs 1.19 lakh across different variants. This decision comes about due to a reduction in the tax slab from 29%—made up of 28% GST plus a 1% cess—to just an 18% flat rate for GST effective from September 22. Skoda has passed on these savings straight to their consumers. Adding to this price drop, there are limited-time festive offers too until September 21. Skoda Kylaq: Revised GST 2.0 Prices

Price drops vary by variant:
- Classic 1.0 TSI MT: By Rs 70,349
- Signature 1.0 TSI MT/AT: By Rs 85,100 / Rs 95,100
- Signature+ 1.0 TSI MT/AT: By Rs 96,357 / Rs 1.05 lakh
- Prestige 1.0 TSI MT/AT: By Rs 1.10 lakh / Rs 1.19 lakh
These reductions bring the Kylaq into a more competitive pricing bracket within the compact SUV segment.

Skoda Kylaq: Powertrain And Performance Details

The Skoda SUV carries a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine under its hood. The peak power and torque figures are 115 hp and 178 Nm, respectively. This mill comes mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. Skoda Kyiaq does the 0-100 km/h run in just about 10.5 seconds, and the top speed rating stands at 188 km/h. All trims - Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige get this engine as standard.
