What is the story about?
A new video shows the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 being ridden through snowy, rocky trails near Niti Valley in Uttarakhand, apparently during a TV commercial
shoot, with launch expected by November. It is significant because the new footage shows how Royal Enfield's first 750cc bike copes with loose terrain even though earlier sightings point to a touring-biased setup. The company has not announced a price, power figures or an India launch date, despite showing it at its September Himalayan Basecamp event. Here is what the clip and sightings confirm, which details are reports only and what to weigh before shortlisting it.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: What the Clip Shows
A Himalayan 750 in a striking colour scheme crosses snow-covered rocky trails without losing traction and a signboard in the pictures points to Malari. Reports say the footage comes from the official TV commercial shoot, so it shows the bike at its best, ridden carefully, not a customer-style test. The rear has an LED taillamp with a layout similar to the Himalayan 450's and the front has a round LED headlamp with the Royal Enfield logo in the centre.Reports expect a new 750cc parallel-twin making more than 50 bhp and around 60 Nm, a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, a TFT display with Bluetooth and navigation, dual-disc brakes and cruise control, which would be a first for a Royal Enfield. None of these figures are official. An 'M' button has also been spotted in earlier images. On the Himalayan 450 a similar button switches ABS off, so ABS control is possible, but nothing is confirmed.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Off-road Bike or Tourer?
Sightings so far show alloy and cross-spoke wheels in a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear combination with road-biased tyres. The Himalayan 450 uses a 21-inch front wheel. Larger front wheels generally cope better with rough ground, so a rumoured off-road variant with a 21-inch front would matter more to serious off-roaders. Reports also say tubeless spoke rims may be sold as accessories and not fitted as standard.Reports point to a global debut at EICMA 2026 and an India launch at Motoverse 2026, though neither date is confirmed. If off-roading is your priority, wait for wheel, tyre as well variant details and take a test ride before putting down any money.
