Allu Arjun enjoys a massive fan following and there is no doubt about it. Each year, the actor’s fans gather outside his Hyderabad house on the occasion of his birthday, and this year is no different.
However, this April 8th, the situation turned a bit chaotic.
On Tuesday night, a massive crowd of fans assembled outside the residence of Allu Arjun, hoping to catch a glimpse of the popular star. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as fans celebrated their favourite actor’s special day – while some burst crackers, others performed puja rituals for the actor’s well-being.
However, as reported by Times Now, the situation turned chaotic due to the sheer number of people present. Reportedly, security personnel were seen attempting to manage the crowd, forming barricades and urging fans to maintain distance. Despite their efforts, many continued to push forward in excitement. Therefore, police officers had to use a baton to gently push the crowd back in an attempt to restore order and prevent any untoward incident.
While no injuries have been reported, authorities, along with the actor’s security team, reportedly brought the situation under control and ensured everyone’s safety.
When Allu Arjun’s Fan Died In A Stampede
In 2024, after the release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, a woman died during a tragic incident that took place during the screening of the film at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The chaos unfolded as massive crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the film’s star, Allu Arjun, who was attending the event alongside music director Devi Sri Prasad. In the ensuing commotion, the theatre’s main gate collapsed, resulting in a stampede. A 35-year-old woman lost her life, and her 9-year-old son sustained severe injuries.
Later, Allu Arjun also reacted to the incident and expressed his condolences to the grieving family. “Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey,” the actor said. He also donated Rs 25 Lakh to the family.
