Ahead of the release of Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, the makers of the film hosted a grand premiere on Wednesday night in Mumbai, attended by several Bollywood celebrities. The main attraction, however, was producer Aamir Khan, who arrived with partner Gauri Shroff. The couple walked hand-in-hand and posed for the cameras. They complemented each other in matching outfits.

Aamir Khan’s Ex Wife Kiran Rao and Other Family Members Joined The Event
While Aamir Khan and Gauri Shinde stole the spotlight at the premiere, the event was also special as it marked the return of Aamir’s cousin, Imran Khan, to films after a 10-year hiatus. Imran made his comeback alongside girlfriend Lekha Washington.
Other notable attendees included Aamir’s daughter Ira and her husband Nupur Shikhare, his son Junaid Khan, and Kiran Rao, who continues to maintain a cordial relationship with Aamir post-divorce and attended to support her ex-husband. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora’s son, Arhaan Khan, was also present at the screening.
Aamir Khan’s extended family, including mother Zeena Hussain and sisters Nikhat and Farhat Khan, were also spotted at the event, making it a rare family reunion.
Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos marks Vir Das’s directorial debut and sees him step into a quirky, never-seen-before avatar as an unconventional spy. Alongside Imran Khan, the film stars Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi, Mithila Palkar and Srushti Tawade.
The film is set for a theatrical release on January 16, 2026.
Coming to Aamir Khan’s love life, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor shared how he was fortunate to meet not just Gauri but also his two ex-wives, Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, as well.
He said, “It shows we are good people. Reena is an amazing person. We fell apart as husband and wife, but that doesn’t mean we fell apart as human beings. There’s a lot of love and respect for her in my heart. I grew up with her; she’s a fantastic person. When we separated, we didn’t part as human beings. It’s the same with Kiran. She is an amazing person, and we decided to part ways as husband and wife, but we are family. Reena, her parents, Kiran and her parents, and my parents, we are all actually one family.”
When asked if he ever thought he would get into a relationship again, Aamir said, “No, I didn’t. I had reached a point where I thought I probably would never find someone who could be my partner. I wasn’t expecting it. She brings a lot of calm, steadiness. She’s a really amazing person, and I am so fortunate and lucky to have met her.”
