Bigg Boss 19 has just concluded, and now the audience has been waiting for the announcement of the Bigg Boss OTT version’s new season. But reports say that the makers are planning to scrap the OTT format
of the show. The show has had three seasons in its OTT format, which were won by Divya Agarwal, Elvish Yadav, and Sana Makbul, and the format was immensely loved by the audience. However, the buzz is that the makers are planning to cancel the new season of the OTT show to avoid restricting the audience.
While there has been no official confirmation from the makers, according to BBTak’s report, the creator’s team has decided to cancel Bigg Boss OTT Hindi. The report says the makers have decided to do so since the original Bigg Boss show now airs on both OTT and TV, and this has been done to end the split and to avoid limited viewership. So far, none of the previous season winners have reacted to this. Meanwhile, the winner of season 1, Divya Agarwal, is now gearing up to participate in the upcoming reality show, The 50.
Speaking about her return to reality television, Divya said, “Acting will always be my first love, but coming back to a reality format with The 50 feels incredibly special. My journey from reality shows to exploring bold, experimental storytelling with Fuh Se Fantasy on JioHotstar has helped me grow immensely as a performer, as an actor. After a long time, I’m stepping back into this space with renewed energy, be it mentally or physically, ready to embrace everything The 50 has to offer. This show is about strategy, resilience, and real emotions, and I’m excited for audiences to reconnect with me with the same spirit and love as before.”
