one on September 9. A day later, Deepika took to Instagram to post a lovely photo of her daughter’s first birthday celebration leaving her fans and colleagues in awe. Many people turned to the comments section to wish for the little munchkin and adore the mother-daughter bond.
Deepika shared a simple snapshot of a baked chocolate cake which had already been cut. In the caption, she wrote, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s first birthday!”

As soon as she posted the picture, Ranveer Singh reacted calling her the ‘Best Mumma’. Karan Johar also wished the little girl. Bipasha Basu commented on the post saying, “Happy 1 Dua & baby Mama & Papa.” Kajal Aggarwal also wished the child along with the parents on the special occasion. While Bhumi Pednekar simply dropped a heart emoji, Deepika’s Hollywood co-star Vin Diesel shared a folded hand emoji.
Fans Wish Baby Dua On Her Birthday
Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “Omg time flies!! Happy Birthday Dua,” while another exclaimed, “It’s been a year already? Wow time sure flies.”

Deepika and Ranveer, who married in 2018, welcomed Dua on September 8 of last year. During Diwali, they formally announced her name. Though the couple once brought paparazzi to their house to see their daughter, they have declined to release her photos, preferring to do so on their terms.
Deepika Padukone’s Work Front
On the work front, Deepika most recently appeared in Rohit Shetty’s film Singham Again. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. It debuted in theatres last year. She was recently confirmed as the female lead in filmmaker Atlee’s sci-fi flick, which also stars Allu Arjun. Sun Pictures is producing the film, which is tentatively titled AA22 x A 6. It is also reported that she would appear alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film King.
