In the photo shared by Kriti on her Instagram story, both she and Kajol are seen flashing their brightest smiles. The candid moment was captured between takes on the set of their Netflix film, which gave fans a sweet behind the scenes glimpse of their bond. She wrote, “Happiest Birthday Kajol ma’am. In Do Patti, Kajol plays the role of a determined woman trying to catch a killer. The film, directed by first time filmmaker Shashanka Chaturvedi, follows an attempted murder that takes place after a messy love triangle. The love triangle involves identical twin sisters, both played by Kriti Sanon. As Kajol’s character digs deeper into the case, the truth becomes harder to find.
Kajol had a packed schedule with one project after another in the last few years. She was last seen in Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani, where she acted alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Before that, she appeared in Maa, a horror drama directed by Vishal Furia, also featuring Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta and Kherin Sharma. Kajol recently completed 33 years in the film industry.
