The teaser for the upcoming web series Space Gen: Chandrayaan, starring Shriya Saran and Nakuul Mehta, has been released. It offers audiences their first captivating glimpse into the project ahead of its
premiere later this month. The series, which shows India’s historic Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission, is scheduled to debut on January 23, 2026, exclusively on JioHotstar.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Nakuul Mehta shared the teaser and wrote, “Chaand tak ka safar aasaan toh nahi tha, par Bharat ke liye namumkin bhi nahi tha! Witness the untold story of the scientists who turned India’s dreams into history. Hotstar Specials: Space Gen – Chandrayaan, all episodes streaming Jan 23 on JioHotstar.” One of the fans wrote, “All the best to the whole team”. Another wrote, “ CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS RIDE”.

The teaser
The 52-second teaser begins with a room full of people holding their breath, scientists staring at screens, hands clasped, hearts racing as Chandrayaan-2 drifts just beyond reach. When the signal drops, scientists looked disappointed. The series is about India’s successful Chandrayan mission.

Nakuul Mehta’s Work Front
The actor is well-known for his roles in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai, Meetha Meetha, Pyaara Pyaara, Ishqbaaaz, Bade Acche Lagte Hai, and Dil Boley Oberoi.
He was recently seen in Do You Wanna Partner, which costarred Diana Penty and Tamannaah Bhatia. The series follows two best friends as they go on a daring business journey to build an alcohol start-up. The show, directed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, premiered on September 12 in India and more than 240 other countries and territories.
