Yesterday, on January 20, reports came in that Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s action comedy, backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, had landed in some trouble. The report also claimed that the
film had been pushed, and that deciding whether it should be released in theatres or on OTT was another roadblock. However, a fresh update on the project states that nothing like that has happened and everything is on track.
As per HT City,Karan Johar himself confirmed that there are no roadblocks and everything is going as planned. The portal quoted Johar saying, “This is not true. We have 10 days of shoot left, and we are very much releasing the film theatrically this year.” The portal also shared that not only Karan, but the director of the film, Aakash Kaushik, has also confirmed that the film is on track.

Apart from the action comedy, Ayushmann and Sara will also be sharing screen space in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. The Prayagraj Incident During Shoot
Earlier last year, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do made headlines for an unfortunate reason. During a shoot in Prayagraj, a scuffle broke out between locals and members of the film crew. Viral videos captured a crew member being attacked by a local while filming a car sequence. According to News18, there were rumours that even the director might have been assaulted.
In one of the viral clips, Ayushmann and Sara were seen engaged in what looked like a heated exchange, which later turned out to be part of a scene for the film. Local police intervened soon after, ensuring the shoot resumed safely.
