Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have finally broken the silence over the viral clip that sparked chatter across social media, showing an animated post-match exchange between owner Sanjeev Goenka and captain
Rishabh Pant.
The visuals emerged after LSG’s six-wicket loss to Delhi Capitals at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, with head coach Justin Langer also part of the discussion. While the interaction didn’t appear heated, it quickly drew attention online, reviving memories of Goenka’s tense exchange with former skipper KL Rahul in 2024.
However, the franchise cleared the air by sharing the full video where Pant and Goenka could be seen giving high fives and hugging each other. The team owner even gave a pat on his captain’s back before getting into a light-hearted conversation.
