The viral Reddit post says, “A few months ago, Deepika was spotted outside Maddock’s office. While everyone was speculating that she was being considered for Mahavatar, the truth is, she was being repeatedly requested to make an appearance as Veronica in the sequel. And she did give her nod and shot her portion somewhere around that time itself. Just cant wait for Veronica to be back.” Well, nothing is confirmed. Deepika Padukone’s performance in the film was loved by netizens. She played the role of Veronica and became a pop culture favourite, with her carefree attitude.

Cocktail 2 is positioned as a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty. Cocktail 2 has been shot across multiple locations, including Sicily in Italy and several places in Delhi and North India such as Chhatarpur, Gurugram and South Delhi. Deepika Padukone’s work front
The actress has recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child. She has currently two films in her kitty-Raaka and King. Amid this, there were reports that Deepika’s scenes might get reduced in Raaka, which also stars Allu Arjun. Now, the makers have responded to these claims.
They told The Times of India, “Everything is moving as planned. Deepika Padukone plays a crucial role in Raaka, and the shoot is unfolding seamlessly with great energy on set.” The team called these rumours baseless and urged fans not to trust them. Previously, it was reported that Deepika would continue working amid her pregnancy.
As per Hindustan Times’ report, “Amidst her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone is shooting intense action sequences for Raaka and will continue to shoot for the film throughout her pregnancy.” Raaka is directed by Atlee and marks Deepika Padukone’s first collaboration with Allu Arjun.
Deepika Padukone will also be seen in King, which is headlined by Shah Rukh Khan. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Manoj Pahwa, to name a few.
