Will you take a long-haul flight to visit a country far away just for 24 hours? A US-based travel influencer just did that! On April 1, Instagram creator @kevindroniak went viral after posting a video
of an extremely short trip to India made solely to see the Taj Mahal. He shared a clip showing him flying from New York to India, travelling to Agra, and then heading straight back to the US, all in about 24 hours.
In the video, Droniak is seen boarding his flight in New York, landing in India, and going directly to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal in the morning. The footage shows him walking around the monument, taking photos, and exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to his caption, the entire journey had one purpose – to see the Taj Mahal in person – before immediately returning home.
After his visit to the monument, the influencer set out to see more of Agra. He hopped into an autorickshaw and went out for breakfast. His meal included the classic Indian favourites, butter chicken, dal fry, garlic naan and biryani, which he enjoyed with a view of the mighty Taj. He then wandered through the streets of Agra, admitting he “doesn’t know” exactly where he was but was having a great time.
Droniak later visited the mausoleum Itmad-ud-Daula, popularly called the Baby Taj. From there, he took a cab to Delhi airport to catch his flight back to the United States. The entire journey – flights, sightseeing, and return – was wrapped up in roughly one day.

The Taj Mahal remains one of the most popular landmarks in the world and continues to draw tourists from across the globe. The clip quickly went viral and stunned viewers with the influencer’s dedication. Here’s how social media users reacted to the video.
One user commented, “Day trip to India IS WILD”
Another wrote, “This is getting too insane but impressive.”
“I’m all for a day trip but I think I’d need minimum a week in India,” one comment read.
This 24-hour-trip did find a few critics on social media. They argued that it makes more sense to take a proper holiday than rush through a 24-hour trip.
