Currently, Taapsee Pannu is preparing for the release of Gandhari. Directed by Devashish Makhija, the film is a revenge drama and will see Taapsee step into the shoes of a gritty and dynamic character. Alongside her will be seen Ishwak Singh who played a pivotal role in the film. It is scheduled for release on OTT later this year.
Taapsee Pannu spoke about the film in a previous statement where she shared, “It’s not just been a mentally but physically demanding film. We tried to achieve so much against all odds that wouldn’t have been possible if the entire team was not aligned together and driven enough to complete this film at breakneck speed. We have pushed the envelope a bit with this film. I felt like a newcomer who wants to give it all in every shot. My job as an actor is over, so now I am waiting with bated breath to see the results of this hard work.”
After Gandhari, Taapsee will be shifting gears for an exciting development in her career. She is set to tap into her lighter, humorous side for a comedy film, the details of which have been kept under wraps.
