Leave it to Sanjay Dutt to turn heads, even during a casual drive. The Bollywood star has added a striking new set of wheels to his collection — a Tesla Cybertruck — and was recently spotted cruising around
Mumbai in the futuristic electric pickup, a rare sight on Indian roads.
Several photos and videos circulating on social media show Sanjay arriving in the angular, stainless steel Cybertruck, instantly grabbing attention. The vehicle is reportedly priced close to ₹50 lakh, making it one of the most expensive electric pickups to be privately imported into the country. Since Tesla has not officially launched the Cybertruck in India, only a handful of units have made their way here through private channels, adding to the buzz around the actor’s latest purchase.

The Tesla Cybertruck is known globally for its bold, unconventional design and stainless steel exterior. As an all-electric pickup, it comes loaded with advanced technology, including steer-by-wire systems, rear-wheel steering for better manoeuvrability, large touchscreen displays and high-capacity power outlets capable of running tools and equipment.
Performance is another key talking point. According to multiple reports, the Cybertruck offers rapid acceleration and strong towing capabilities. That said, the vehicle has drawn mixed reactions worldwide, with some users pointing out challenges such as limited visibility, an unusual driving feel and an exterior surface that easily shows fingerprints. Despite this, its distinctive look and power-packed features have made it one of Tesla’s most talked-about models.
In international markets like the United States, the Cybertruck starts at around $80,000, with higher-end variants priced significantly above that. In India, unofficial estimates suggest an ex-showroom price of approximately ₹50.70 lakh. Tesla, however, has not announced any official pricing or confirmed plans to launch the vehicle in the Indian market.
On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt was most recently seen in Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab, which also featured Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab. He is also riding high on the success of Dhurandhar, the Ranveer Singh-led film that has emerged as a major box office blockbuster.
