In a fun and lighthearted moment, Mrunal Thakur shared her current favourite playlist with her fans. Sitting on a chair inside what seemed like her vanity van and surrounded by her hair and makeup team,
the actress excitedly revealed the list of songs she has been obsessing over these days. “Can I make you hear my favourite songs?” Mrunal asked at the beginning of a video shared on her Instagram account on Sunday, August 31.
First, she played Asha Bhosle’s song from the film Kabhi Na Kabhi titled Mere Dil Ka Wo. As soon as it started playing, Mrunal began singing and fully enjoying the vibe of the track. Her adorable antics brought a smile to the faces of her team members. She said, “This is my first favourite song,” while sitting with a bowl of some freshly chopped fruit.
Mrunal Thakur’s Favourites List Also Has A Tamil Song
The second song on her list was the Tamil song Kannadi Poove, sung by Santhosh Narayanan, from the 2025 film Retro. Mrunal also revealed what her favourite part of the song is to her fans. Moving on, the third song that she has been obsessing over is Ishq Bulaava from Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra’s film Hasee Toh Phasee. The Son of Sardaar 2 actress continued her singing, with her team also thoroughly enjoying the song.
Next on her list was Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao’s duet Tere Hawaale from Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s movie Laal Singh Chaddha. While listening to the song, Mrunal praised Shilpa Rao’s vocals and the song’s soulfulness. She also playfully reacted to the lyrics.
The fifth and final song on Mrunal’s list was Qaafirana from the film Kedarnath, featuring the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. Her entire team began singing the song as soon as it started playing, which left the actress pleasantly surprised. In the caption of the post, Mrunal wrote, “Suggest me some new songs for my playlist in the comments. Batao Batao.”

What’s Next For Mrunal Thakur?
Mrunal was most recently seen in the comic film Son of Sardaar 2, opposite Ajay Devgn. Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, late actor Mukul Dev, and Vindu Dara Singh were also seen in prominent roles in the Vijay Kumar Arora-directed film. The 33-year-old actress will next appear in the romantic action flick Dacoit, with South star Adivi Sesh. It is scheduled for release in theatres around Christmas 2025. Besides this, she has the romantic comedy, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, in the pipeline, where she stars alongside Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde.
