the Highest 2 Lowest star was asked about his marital status once again. This time, too, Rocky responded with humour rather than a direct answer.
During his appearance on the February 4 episode of Celebrity Substitute, a show in which public school children interview celebrities, one student asked if he was married to Rihanna. “That’s an interesting question that you asked,” the 37-year-old artist said before playfully questioning the child if he would prefer the pop icon take his place. “You want Rihanna, huh? Well, you got me. You got me today,” he said.
When A$AP Rocky Referred To Himself As “Husband:
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, and Rihanna went public with their relationship in November 2020, and have since become one of the most talked-about couples in town. Their fans have long speculated about whether the pair is married. And in September last year, Rocky gave a subtle hint, which left everyone excited. During an interview with Elle magazine, he was asked if he’s looking forward to becoming a husband, and he replied: “How (do) you know I’m not already a husband? … I’m still not gonna confirm it.”
Two months later, when he was interviewed by The Perfect Magazine, Rocky referred to himself as a ‘loving husband’, creating a massive buzz on the internet. Giving a sneak peek into his personal life, he shared, “Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy.”
Whether he is Rihanna’s husband is best known to the couple; what is public is that they are parents to three beautiful children: sons RZA Althelston and Riot Rose, and their daughter Rocki Irish. The couple welcomed their daughter in September last year.
A$AP Rocky Says Music Plays A Crucial Role In Their Household
During the same episode of Celebrity Substitutes, Rocky offered a glimpse into their family life and revealed that music plays a central role in their household. “I play my children all sorts of genres, so from Michael Jackson’s old, classic stuff to psychedelic music and the Beatles, of course, right? A lot of reggae. We live in a musical household, so it’s very diverse,” he explained.
