People Love Bengaluru for Its Spirit
A user shared, “For me, Bengaluru has been the only city which gives me opportunities to pursue hobbies and fun stuff. Like if I want to go paintball, I can easily find places to go for, same for go-karting, pottery… I think very few cities come close to Bengaluru that give such opportunities.”
Another added, “Yeah my friend in Mumbai is bored to death when she sees my posts about book reading in Cubbon Park with a bunch of strangers. She’s like, man, I wish Mumbai had something like this.”
For some, it was the city’s greenery that stood out. “I like the trees, man. Especially in North Bengaluru, where I grew up. There are some roads where trees grow on both sides and completely cover the road like a canopy,” one person wrote.
Another said, “I like the people. No matter what your hobby is, you’ll find a group of people with the same interest.”
A Blend of Cultures and Tastes
Several comments praised Bengaluru’s cosmopolitan mix. “I love it that most people I meet are well-travelled and can relate to international experiences and cuisine. On the same day, I can go enjoy some fine Mudde & upsaaru with local friends, one who drives a Porsche and another who rides a Splendor,” a user wrote.
“Filter kaapi. I’m yet to have a bad experience drinking coffee in Bengaluru,” another said.
One person simply summed up their love for the city’s nightlife and brewing culture: “Craft beer. It is unmatched in India. I want to start a brewery. One day. One day.”
