Mahesh Babu has been keeping himself busy with his next co starring Priyanka Chopra. Recently, it has been reported that the actor has wrapped up the Nairobi schedule of SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated
film SSMB29. The film marks the first-ever collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli. The film release has not been disclosed till now.
According to 123 Telugu, the actor has completed the Nairobi schedule and has also returned to Hyderabad. Recently, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram to share a series of pictures from her recent adventure in Kenya, East Africa. Sharing the photos, she wrote, “Lately Mazuri sana Asante.” The photos beautifully capture the scenic landscapes of Africa, with Priyanka also treating fans to a few stunning selfies. In one photo, she is seen channelling her inner wildlife photographer, happily clicking pictures. Reacting to the post, Namrata Shirodkar dropped several heart-eyed emojis.
Mahesh Babu Shoots SSMB 29’s Action Scene Leaked:
The SSMB 29 team has kept Mahesh Babu’s look under wraps, but fans aren’t wasting any time. Recent photos and videos from the Kenya shoot show him in a green T-shirt, filming action sequences outdoors. In one snapshot, Mahesh Babu can be seen walking while holding what appears to be a map. Fans have also claimed that a short video of the action sequence he shot in this look has leaked online. Another picture captures him smiling and shaking hands with several people on set.
This isn’t the first time SSMB 29 has faced leaks. Back in March, during an outdoor shoot for a key sequence in Koraput, Odisha, a video featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran surfaced online, prompting the team to tighten security to prevent further leaks.
SSMB29 To Have A Rs 1000 Crore Budget: Report
SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Priyanka Chopra’s SSMB29 is one of the most anticipated films. The movie, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in a lead role, has already shot its Kenya schedule. Now, with the movie starring three of the biggest actors in lead roles, a report on the film’s estimated budget has claimed that the movie will have a grand budget. The report, as per Hindustan Times, claims that the film was $135 million (₹1188 crore), calling it “one of the largest film productions in Asian cinema history.” Meanwhile, a portal named The Citizen stated that the movie’s budget is about $116 million, which is an amount of Rs 1022 crore.

Priyanka Chopra arrived in Hyderabad with her daughter Malti Marie a few days ago for the shoot of the film. Recently, a report by The Citizen from Tanzania claimed that SSMB29 revolves around a “rugged explorer” who is fighting an enemy to protect the world. “Inspired by Indiana Jones and African adventure classics, the film follows a rugged explorer who sets out on a high-stakes mission through uncharted terrain, battling nature, mystery, and a powerful enemy to uncover a long-lost secret that could change the world. Think ancient legends, wild landscapes, and edge-of-your-seat thrills,” the synopsis of the movie, as quoted by the Tanzanian media portal, said.
