Amid honking vehicles and fast-moving traffic, a small act of kindness has helped a frightened puppy find an unlikely guardian. Choosing humanity over convenience, a Zomato delivery executive rescued the
helpless dog and changed the little one’s fate.
A video circulating on Instagram shows how a delivery executive, named Dev, did something far beyond his job description to save a puppy that had been left wandering on a busy road. The incident is said to have taken place on January 17.
In the clip, Dev can be seen holding the frightened puppy and explaining how the little one was darting between vehicles. He added that the dog could have been run over by the vehicles. After understanding the urgency of the situation, Dev did not hesitate and decide to step forward.

Instead of walking away or waiting for help, Dev picked up the puppy and moved it away to safety. What happened next was something that truly won the hearts of many: the rescued dog could be seen calmly sitting inside Dev’s red-coloured Zomato delivery bag, with its eyes peeking out. Dev even revealed that he has named the puppy, Duggu.
Since being shared on Instagram, the video instantly went viral on the social media platform and garnered more than 1.1 million views in a few days. The comments section of the post was flooded with praise. People have lauded Dev for his effort and called it another example of kindness in everyday life.

“God bless you.. is duniya ko aap jaise pyaare logo ki zarurat hai (the world needs kind people like you),” singer Jasleen Matharu commented on the post.
Filmmaker Lakshmi R Iyer shared red heart emojis to appreciate Dev for his efforts.
“Zomato might have a red logo, but bro is a green flag,” one person wrote.
Another added, “Ye duggu aapki life badal dega, he is pure blessing from GOD (Duggu will change your life, he is a pure blessing from God)”.
One Instagram user quipped that “men can find bros anywhere” on Earth.
