Fresh off the massive success of Sarvam Maya, which marked a turning point after a prolonged box office lull, Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly is back in the spotlight. The Premam actor is now over the moon
as he sealed a major Rs 100-crore multi-film partnership with Panorama Studios.
While past recent years were not in the favour of the actor as he faced a series of underwhelming releases, 2026 is absolutely his year. On Wednesday, leading production and distribution banner Panorama Studios announced a landmark partnership with Malayalam actor-producer Nivin Pauly to produce a series of Malayalam feature films.
Valued at Rs 100 crore, the collaboration is unprecedented in the Malayalam films, an industry which typically operates on comparatively modest budgets than other film industries. With this agreement, Nivin Pauly becomes the first Malayalam star to secure a deal of this scale.
Panorama Studios’ Rs 100 Crore Deal with Nivin Pauly
This grand collaboration unites Panorama Studios’ Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak with Nivin Pauly, who will also take on the role of producer. The entire slate of films will be jointly produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Nivin Pauly, highlighting a collaborative vision focused on blending compelling storytelling with broad commercial reach.
Panorama Studios made the big announcement through a social media post from their official handles. Sharing a picture of Nivin Paulya and Kumar Mangat Pathak, the production house wrote, “We are proud to announce a Rs 100 crore multi – film association with Nivin Pauly, a historic milestone and a first for Malayalam cinema.”

According to a press release, “the multi-film slate will span multiple genres and sensibilities, combining content-driven narratives with mainstream appeal, and is aimed at audiences across India and international markets.”
Speaking about the deal Nivin Pauly said in a statement, “This collaboration with Panorama Studios is extremely exciting for me, both as an actor and as a producer. Their vision, scale, and commitment to quality cinema align perfectly with the kind of stories I want to be part of. Together, we aim to create films that are rooted, entertaining, and impactful.”
Nivin Pauly’s Career
Nivin Pauly is among the most acclaimed actors and producers in Malayalam cinema. A former software engineer, he left his corporate career to pursue films. After doing supporting roles in films like Malarvaadi Arts Club and The Metro, he found his breakthrough in 2013 with Neram. He has since starred in successful films like Bangalore Days, Premam, and Kayamkulam Kochunni. He is the recipient of two Kerala State Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, two Kerala Film Critics Association Awards and six SIIMA Awards.
He has a busy slate ahead in 2026, including the Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ambitious project Benz.
