Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) on Thursday announced a power outage in parts of Nagarabhavi division on January 2, 2026. As per the official notice, the power outage will be carried
out from 10 am to 5 pm. The shutdown will affect several areas.
As per the official orders, the power cut is to facilitate maintenance and infrastructure-related works, including system strengthening and safety-related upgrades at substations and distribution lines.
Bengaluru Power Cut To Affect THESE Areas
As per the official notice by BESCOM, following areas under Nagarabhavi division will be affected:
- Nagarabhavi
- Manjunatha Nagar
- Kalidasa Layout
- Shanthinagar
- Kottigepalya
Water Supply and Pumping Station areas and surrounding residential and commercial pockets will also be affected.
