The trailer of Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, the official Telugu remake of the 2022 Malayalam hit Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, has been released and is receiving positive responses. Actor-director Tharun Bhascker
plays the lead role, with Eesha Rebba starring opposite him. Directed by debutant A. R. Sajeev, the film promises a quirky rom-com that also addresses an important social issue.
Set in a rustic backdrop, the trailer hints at a story that mixes humor with realism. While the tone remains light at several points, the narrative tackles domestic violence with sensitivity and cultural nuance.
Tharun Bhascker And Eesha Rebba Lead The Story
Tharun Bhascker plays Ambati Omkar Naidu, a fishery owner who appears progressive before marriage. Eesha Rebba plays Kondaveeti Prashanthi, a woman who initially believes her husband is supportive but soon experiences his controlling and abusive behaviour.
The trailer shows Prashanthi’s feelings and how she slowly becomes stronger. She starts quiet and unsure, but learns to believe in herself. Her bravery and wish to be independent make the story interesting and meaningful.
