India’s quick commerce network continues to amaze visitors and residents. Tourists from all around the world have praised the convenience of such services time and again. Adding to the growing list of admirations,
an American man living in South Delhi recently documented his experience of receiving a Blinkit order in just six minutes.
The man, identified as Charlie Evans, shared a video on Instagram to show his friends in the US how fast Indian delivery services can be. In the clip, Evans orders a bottle of water and a screwdriver from Blinkit and begins recording the time to test the service in real time.
Charlie Evans Documents The Entire Delivery Time
Starting the video at 5:43 pm, Evans explains, “and I just ordered Blinkit. I’m showing my US friends how quick this app service is. Basically it’s a one-stop shop for everything you can get at the last minute. And it’s super super quick. So at 5.43 pm let’s see when he gets here.”
As he waits, he also reflects on the challenges faced by delivery partners navigating Delhi’s lanes and apartment complexes. “I feel bad for these Blinkit guys sometimes. They get here super quick, and I have no idea how they find the building. I don’t think he’s outside though. This is the only thing that holds it up, is they’re trying to find it,” he remarks while scanning outside.
Within moments, the delivery arrives. Visibly impressed, Evans reveals the final timing. “It was 5.49 when I got it. So… six minutes. For water and a screwdriver,” he says, calling the service “supreme” and declaring “Blinkit is god” in the caption of his post.

Internet Has Mixed Reactions To The Video
The video quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from social media users. While many praised India’s advanced quick-commerce infrastructure and expressed pride in the efficiency, others raised concerns about the pressure placed on gig workers to meet ultra-fast delivery timelines.
“India’s quick commerce is on another level, especially in Delhi,” read a comment.
Another wrote, “Sometimes it feels like the delivery guy was already standing downstairs, and the moment we placed the order, he came straight up to deliver it to our room.”
“It’s quick with a cost. They have to rush to meet deadlines or get fired without explanation,” said a user.
An individual stated, “This is not something we should be proud of. This leads to abuse of workers and accidents. I am not against delivery services, in-fact I encourage it. But not this 10 minute.”
“Great for customers, but I hope riders are treated well and paid fairly,” added another.
An account posted, “Unfortunately, these are the only things we can be proud of!”
Australian Woman Is Impressed With Delivery Service On Train
A month back, an Australian woman documented her amazement at India’s delivery services. Sharing a video on Instagram, she talked about receiving food she liked on a train, with an overlay text, “India is ahead of the times when it comes to this.”
Holding a slice of pizza in her hand, she said, “India is so cool. I just ordered pizza and French fries on a train that is moving, and the delivery driver actually met me at the station.”

That’s when another woman, who was not visible on the camera, rectified her, saying, “He met you on the train.” She then mentioned, “Yeah, actually, he met me on the train. How sick is that? That is so cool.”
