Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are coming together for a film tentatively titled Thalaivar 174. And now fresh speculation claimed that veteran superstar Rajinikanth is set to receive a staggering remuneration
of Rs 225 crore for the upcoming project. While there has been no official confirmation from the actors or the production house, the reported figure has already set social media buzzing.
Pinkvilla has quoted a report by Valai Pechu, Rajinikanth has reportedly received a remuneration of Rs 225 crore for a co-lead role in the upcoming film. Tentatively titled Thalaivar174 X KH238, the movie will mark his reunion with Kamal Haasan. However, these remain unconfirmed, as the makers have not made any official announcement.
Rajinikanth And Kamal Haasan Wrap Up 80s-Style Promo Shoot
According to the latest reports, the promo shoot for Thalaivar174 has reportedly been completed. If rumours are to be believed, the makers have filmed a special teaser featuring both superstars in a vintage 1980s-inspired style. Pinkvilla has quoted a report by Valai Pechu, “Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have recently wrapped up an ’80s-style promo shoot for their upcoming movie. The promo reportedly features both actors in vintage looks, embarking on a car ride together. The promo is said to show Rajinikanth tossing car keys to Kamal Haasan in his signature style, with Kamal catching them mid-air before the two get into the vehicle together. As they sit inside the car with trademark swagger, they drive off on an adventurous ride.” However, no official confirmation has been issued by the makers.
Nelson Dilipkumar To Direct Rajinikanth And Kamal Haasan Film
India Today has reported that the director selection underwent several changes before Nelson was finalised. Initially, Lokesh Kanagaraj was considered following Sundar C’s exit. And now reportedly Nelson became the final choice. Report also claimed that preparations are underway for an impressive promo shoot. The details are yet to be disclosed. Participating in the pre-release event of director Madhan’s With Love, Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is the producer of the film, said, “I had called director Venkat Prabhu to invite him for this film’s event. He told me that it had been 16 years since our film ‘Goa’ was released. It has been 16 years since I wore the producer’s hat. I manifested that I would definitely come back with a team such as the ‘With Love’ team, and my manifestation has happened. I am so happy, proud and honoured to come back.” The producer, who thanked director Cibi Chakravarthy for participating in the With Love event, said, “Thalaivar 173 periya poruppu Cibi (Thalaivar 173 is a big responsibility, Cibi). But I have a lot of faith in you. I believe that you will live up to the trust I have in you. A deadly film will come.”
