The singer has repeatedly shown his love for Hindi film music over the years, often sharing Bollywood tracks on social media and speaking about his admiration for Indian cinema music culture. Nick Jonas names his favourite Bollywood wedding song During a recent interaction, Nick Jonas was asked about the one song that always gets him dancing at weddings. The singer replied, “There are these classics like Celebrations, We Are Family. I also love Tauba Tauba from Vicky Kaushal’s movie. It’s a great song.” The track became one of the biggest viral songs of 2024 after its release in Bad Newz. Sung, written and composed by Karan Aujla, the song featured Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. Soon after release, the song dominated social media platforms, with fans recreating Vicky Kaushal’s dance moves and signature style from the music video. Nick Jonas has often spoken about Bollywood music This is not the first time Nick Jonas has publicly shared his love for Bollywood songs. Earlier, the singer uploaded a social media video showing himself vibing to a song from Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar alongside his brothers. He had captioned the post, “New pre-show hype song unlocked.” Before that, Nick also revealed that he listens to Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani’s Aavan Jawan from War 2 before going on stage for performances. The singer has also spoken earlier about why Hindi film music connects with him so strongly. Nick said he loves the way Bollywood songs are deeply connected to storytelling and films. He explained that he enjoys how actors lip-sync to playback singers while composers create music that feels both cinematic and commercially popular at the same time. Nick Jonas gears up for Power Ballad release While speaking about Bollywood music, Nick Jonas is also busy promoting his upcoming movie Power Ballad. Directed and co-written by John Carney, a musical comedy drama stars Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor in lead roles.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 5.
