Michel de Nostredame, known as Nostradamus, was a French doctor and writer who lived more than 400 years ago. He became famous for his book Les Propheties, published in 1555, which many believe contains
clues about the future. Even today, his predictions continue to trigger debate and curiosity across the world. His past prophecies, like the rise of Adolf Hitler, death of Princess Diana, 9/11 attacks and COVID-19 pandemic, have all come true.
Now, talk has shifted towards what he may have hinted about 2026 and it doesn’t look calm. Nostradamus mentioned about the world war, attack of bees and bloodshed.
According to the Daily Mail reports, Nostradamus wrote his predictions in short poems using old French and Latin. One of his writings is “The great swarm of bees will arise by night, the ambush.” While it doesn’t directly mean a real attack by insects. Instead, they believe the bees are the symbol of power or strength. It could also point towards well known figures gaining influence or success in the coming year.
One of Nostradamus’s verses connected to the number 26, written in French, reads, “Because of the favour that the city will show, the Ticino will overflow with blood.” Ticino is situated in southern Switzerland, an area known for its forests, lakes and glaciers. The verse mentions that the city’s actions will lead to the the city overflowing with blood. While the exact meaning is unclear, he might be referring to a war or violence in Europe, rather than a literal flood.
Nostradamus also suggested another war between the East and West. Some of his verses talk about a conflict going on for months, many people dying because the leaders are not willing to surrender.
He also wrote, “When Mars rules his path among the stars, human blood will sprinkle the sanctuary. Three fires rise from the eastern sides, while the West loses its light in silence.”
By referring to Mars, the Roman god of war, Nostradamus is warning that 2026 will be filled with battles and human loss.
