We all have our favourites when it comes to binge-watching shows on OTT platforms. While some love exploring new series, others can’t resist rewatching the reruns of their all-time favourite shows.
Celebrities
are no different. Malaika Arora recently revealed in an interview with Hindustan Times the one show she can’t get enough of, and her choice makes her feel just like one of us!
Malaika Arora Can’t Get Enough Of FRIENDS
When Malaika was asked by the media portal what she is currently watching, the actress shared that while she’s exploring a lot of shows, her favourite pick for relaxing is a rerun of the popular sitcom Friends. Explaining why she loves it, Malaika said the show has amazing characters, great fashion sense, superb writing, and is brilliantly shot. She also mentioned that it’s relatable, which is exactly what makes it her go-to comfort watch.
Which FRIENDS Character Is Malaika’s Favourite?
For the unversed, Friends is a sitcom that revolves around the lives of six friends: Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Rachel Green, and Phoebe Buffay. Picking her favourites, Malaika revealed that she loves Joey, played by Matt LeBlanc. She also picked Monica, played by Courteney Cox, saying that the character is very close to how she is in real life.
Malaika explained that she recommends Friends because it’s the ultimate feel-good, pick-me-up show. She said you can jump into any episode at any time, with no backstory needed, and instantly start feeling happy. According to her, it’s the kind of show that makes you laugh, sometimes even tear up, and occasionally leaves you inspired. “You feel like you are a part of their life, like literally living with them,” she stated.
What’s Malaika’s Binge-Watching Routine And Who’s Her Go-To Binge Partner?
The Chaiyya Chaiyya star isn’t a typical binge-watcher. She likes to savour her shows because finishing them too quickly gives her serious withdrawal issues. When it comes to a binge-watching partner, Malaika has an interesting approach. She says that watching a show is a personal and private experience for her. Even if she watches a show with someone, she often goes back to watch it alone, enjoying it at her own pace and in her own space.
