Charles Leclerc walked down the stairs of Hôtel Martinez with his new bride, internet celebrity Alexandra Saint Mleux, on his arm. The couple attended their first red carpet, following their wedding in March
2026. This was also an extra special moment for the couple as they also made their debut together at the Cannes Film Festival.
The F1 Ferrari driver attended the film festival in his capacity as a L’Oréal Paris global ambassador. His wife accompanied him to the festival, a known fashion and taste-maker in her own right.
For his first appearance on the red carpet, Charles Leclerc wore a black Giorgio Armani tuxedo. He accessorised with some jaw-dropping artefacts – a diamond-encrusted brooch shaped like a branch and his new wedding band.

For her part, Alexandra Saint Mleux opted for a custom Paolo Sebastian dress. She wore a strapless gown with a nude tulle bustier and tiers of gold scalloped satin. Alexandra nailed the brief of the French Riviera, which was more is more, yet tastefully done. The dress was laden with gold netting, rhinestones, and floral appliqué. Not one to be deterred by the shimmering dress, she added a diamond tennis necklace and drop earrings.
For desi audience, the Ferrari driver’s interaction with our own, actor Alia Bhatt, caused quite a storm on the internet. In a clip doing the rounds on the internet, the actor can be seen with the Formula 1 driver during a promotional event at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. She had also earlier met the other F1 driver at the film festival, Carlos Sainz, which also sent fans in a tizzy.
A video from the event, which has been widely shared on social media, shows Alia Bhatt greeting Charles Leclerc with a smile. Ever the gentleman, he can also be seen turning around to help Alia Bhatt as she makes her way up the stairs. Alia Bhatt can be seen trying to wrangle her light blue flowy gown as she made her way to the top. However, they did have a short interaction as well.
