Superstar Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Raaka. He has teamed up with director Atlee for the thriller. Amid his busy shooting schedules, it was recently reported that the actor
is planning to relocate to Mumbai. It was said that he would move to the city for the next two to three years to focus on Raaka and avoid constant travel fully. However, his producer-father, Allu Aravind, has denied these claims.
While speaking to Deccan Chronicle, his father, Allu Aravind, said that the actor has no such plans. He also said that since Raaka is being shot here, it may look that way. But there is no truth to these claims. He said, “No. Since his current film is being shot in Mumbai, it may appear that way. But Hyderabad is where Allu’s heart and home are. His children study there, and all his loved ones are based in Hyderabad. Why would he move to Mumbai?”
In the coming months, Allu Arjun is likely to shuttle between Hyderabad and Mumbai as he shoots for Atlee’s ambitious film Raaka. However, despite the frequent travel, the actor has no plans to relocate permanently or shift his focus beyond Telugu cinema. Several reports claim he will be renting a home in Mumbai so he can stay at his home during his visits.
As per a report by Mid-Day, Allu Arjun has reportedly taken a property on lease in Mumbai for three years at a monthly rent of Rs 16 lakh, with the total deal said to be worth around Rs 25 crore. The actor was reportedly particular about certain requirements, including a sea-facing view. The report also claims that he, along with his wife Sneha, has been involved in overseeing the interior design of the apartment.
Meanwhile, Raaka, one of the most awaited films, will also star Deepika Padukone. Reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing pivotal characters in the project. Recently, it was also rumoured that Shah Rukh Khan is expected to make a cameo in the film. However, the makers are yet to confirm the development.
