The Rajasthan government on Friday hosted a startup conclave as part of events marking the completion of two years of the Bhajanlal Sharma administration. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was invited as the chief
guest at the Innovation Day Startups Conclave, held at at the Rajasthan International Center, where he distributed Rs 10.79 crore in incentives to 333 startups.
The event was also attended by Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Joga Ram Patel, and Chief Secretary V. Srinivas.
At the conclave, Bikaner-based startup Eco Bharat secured a spot among Rajasthan’s Top 10 startups and received a Rs 10-lakh incentive grant from the Chief Minister. The company has been expanding rapidly in the field of road safety, and its work has been impactful enough that the Punjab and Haryana High Court earlier this year directed the implementation of road safety measures across the state. Eco Bharat now operates in 26 states, with multiple governments supporting its initiatives.
Founder and CEO Sampat Saraswat Bamanwali expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying it would motivate the team to work with even greater dedication. Being ranked among the top startups in Rajasthan marks a significant milestone for the company.
India continues to face alarming road-accident statistics, with an average of 474 fatalities every day. The 201st Law Commission report highlights that timely medical intervention within the first hour could save nearly half of these lives. Eco Bharat aims to address this gap through its smart QR stickers, which enable quick contact with family members and instant alerts to nearby ambulances and police—without compromising personal privacy. Their solution has been gaining strong acceptance nationwide.
The Rajasthan government’s move has generated widespread excitement and encouragement across the state’s startup ecosystem.
