Actresses Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh recently wrapped up the shoot of their highly anticipated film Alpha. To mark the occasion, the two stars treated the crew and fans to a lively dance face-off on set.
The actors have completed all their scenes, including the film’s major highlight which is a dance face-off between Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
“The dance face-off between Alia Bhatt and Sharvari is one of their important assets,” a source told Mid-Day. They added that it was shot in the last leg of the film. “The leading ladies will have two separate singers singing for them. The final cut [of the film] will be handed over by August 31.”
Meanwhile, work on the overall sound design for Shiv Rawail’s directorial venture Alpha is ongoing. “The background score for Alpha is still being composed. Quite some revision is being done for the action bits in the movie,” sources said. Along with Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, the film also features a cameo by Hrithik Roshan’s popular spy character, Kabir Dhaliwal.
Alia had earlier hosted a meet-and-greet session for her fans where she teased them about Alpha. During an interactive Q&A session, a fan asked the actor which character would she choose to live for a day. Without much thinking, she quickly responded, “The best one is always the next one,” hinting at her much-anticipated role in Alpha.
Reportedly, Alia also underwent rigorous training to bring about a fierce avatar to her character. A source close to the film had told Hindustan Times, “Alia has started shooting for Alpha on July 5th. The film presents her in a never-seen-before avatar. She has trained for about four months to prepare herself to play a super agent. She has five to six major action sequences in the film and she needs to be at her fittest best. Alia has pushed her body to a breaking point because she has to look ruthless on screen.”
Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail, known for his involvement in projects such as The Railway Men, Fan, Dhoom 3. A majority of the film has been shot in Kashmir. As per sources, Hrithik Roshan and Bobby Deol will play pivotal supporting roles in the film.
