Mrunal Thakur is currently busy promoting her film Son of Sardaar 2, which was recently released in theatres. While the actress has been sharing happy reviews from the audience, the critics have given
the film mixed reactions. Now, in her recent tweet, Mrunal has called the reviews misleading.
Last night, Mrunal Thakur took to her X account and asked a fan, “What are your Sunday plans?” Reacting to it, one user wrote, “The way the reviews are on Instagram and YouTube, I don’t even feel like watching it (Son of Sardaar 2) anymore.” Responding to this, the actress quickly said, “Most of the reviews are misleading… I would appreciate it if you decide how you like it, sir.”

Earlier today, Mrunal put out a reel revealing a ritual she follows after the release of her films.
The actress took to her Instagram and shared a reel showing her enjoying Son of Sardaar 2 inside the theatre with the regular audience. While sharing the reel, she wrote, “Ever since Sita Ramam, I’ve held on to this little ritual of watching the film in theatres with all of you. Because truly, the real magic happens when I hear your laughter, your cheers, your love echo through the halls.”
“There’s no bigger reward for our hard work than feeling your energy live in that moment. Go catch SOS 2 in theatres if you haven’t already. And I hope it leaves you smiling, laughing, and feeling just a little more full-hearted,” she further added.
News18 Showsha rated the film 3 out of 5 stars. A part of their review reads: “With all said and done, Son of Sardaar 2 is a decent watch that you can think of watching at the theatres near you with your family. Though the film tries to give a message at the end, go with a mindset to watch some pure slapstick comedy that doesn’t require you to apply your mind and logic. Lastly, be ready to be surprised by a small announcement in the end, and no, it’s not Son of Sardaar 3.”
The film also stars the late Mukul Dev, marking his posthumous release. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film features a powerhouse cast including Ajay Devgn, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta.
