The Raja Saab First Review Out: Prabhas’ much-awaited movie The Raja Saab is finally in theatres and early reviews suggest that it is a decent film which should be watched for the actor’s performance.
On Friday morning, several social media users took to their respective X handles and reviewed the Maruthi directorial. While some argued that the film lacks with regard to its plot, others point out that even though the director tried something new, he failed to pass with flying colours.
One of the netizens argued that The Raja Saab should be watched for Prabhas’ performance and wrote, “Just watched #RajaSaab 👀 First half drags, second half works. Prabhas looks great, some fun moments, mixed climax. Feels like a safe Sankranti family entertainer. What did you guys think?”

Another called the film a ‘waste of time’ and added, “Just completed watching #TheRajaSaab at a special screening!!Review: What a pathetic movie !! Wasted my time on this nonsense. Got a headache !! #Prabhas was a joker in the movie and he has wasted himself after #Baahubali”

However, one of the users defended Prabhas’ movie and praised the director for exploring something new. “Rajaa Saab is a good watch .. the set up is different to regular films .. except lags in few places , I liked the movie thoroughly .. Energetic #Prabhas is all you need on the screen. Go watch it,” he wrote and then added, “@DirectorMaruthi chose a very good concept and he was almost there to justify 100 percent. He should be credited to show darling in a full energetic avatar which fans miss.”

The film stars Prabhas in the lead, alongside Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani. The film has been release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
