New Delhi, May 23 (PTI) Actor Prakash Raj has completed shooting for “Drishyam 3”, featuring Ajay Devgn.
The film is the third installment in the thriller drama franchise and is set to release in theatres
on October 2. It is directed by Abhishek Pathak and is presented by Star Studio18. The filmmaker is also producing it alongside Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
Raj shared a picture with the clapperboard on his Instagram handle on Friday and said he thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the film.
“#Drishyam3 Hindi .. Just wrapped up a fantastic shoot with a wonderful team… thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this film. I’m sure you ‘ll love it too… on to the next one,” he wrote.
Besides Raj and Devgn, the film features Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, and Jaideep Ahlawat, among others.
“Drishyam” originated as a 2013 Malayalam film starring Mohanlal, and its sequel came out in 2022. The latest installment released in theatres on Friday. All three films have been directed by Jeethu Joseph.
The first film in the Hindi version was released in 2015 and directed by the late Nishikant Kamat, followed by another release in 2022, directed by Pathak. While the previous releases were remakes of the Malayalam version, the third installment will have a different narrative. PTI ATR ATR ATR
