Muskmelon is a nutritious summer fruit that is composed of about 90% water, making it excellent for hydration and helping the body cool down and maintain fluid balance in hot weather. Also known as kharbuja or cantaloupe, it is rich in vitamin C and vitamin A, which support immunity, protect the eyes, and promote healthy, glowing skin and improving elasticity. Being low in calories but naturally sweet, muskmelon is a good choice for weight‑conscious people who still want a satisfying snack.

Muskmelon milkshake
Ingredients:
- 500 g muskmelon pulp (seeds removed, chopped into chunks)
- 300 ml chilled milk
- 100 g fresh cream
- Sugar, to taste
- A handful of chopped dry fruits like almonds, pistachios, cashews
- Extra fresh cream for garnish
Method:
- Prepare the muskmelon: Scoop out the muskmelon pulp and remove any seeds or hard bits. Cut the flesh into small chunks so it blends smoothly.
- Blend the base: Place the muskmelon pulp into a clean juicer or blender jar. Add the milk, fresh cream, and sugar (if using).
Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and frothy with no visible lumps. - Serve immediately: Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses, dividing it evenly.
Top each glass with a small swirl of fresh cream and a scattering of chopped dry fruits over the surface. - Enjoy: Serve cold, ideally with a straw or a spoon, and enjoy the sweet, musky‑melon flavour with a creamy finish.
