After the success of its debut season, Karan Johar-hosted reality show The Traitors is all set to return with a second season. The makers recently unveiled a teaser announcing the arrival of the new season, creating
excitement among fans. Karan Johar also shared the announcement video on social media, which revealed the first two confirmed contestants of The Traitors Season 2, Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui. Now, according to a new report, several other celebrity names have been revealed who might join the show.
According to India Today, apart from Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui, the upcoming season of Karan Johar’s reality show will also feature a stellar lineup of celebrities. Shweta is reportedly set to join the lineup of contestants on The Traitors Season 2. The television favourite, who has been a part of several reality shows over the years, previously participated in Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 4.
Also entering the reality show is YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan. He made his television reality debut with Bigg Boss OTT 2, where he finished as the first runner-up. Comedian Aditya Kulshrestha, better known as Kullu, is another name expected to be part of the season. A well-known face in the comedy space, Kullu recently ventured into acting with Loveyapa, which featured Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan.
The second season of The Traitors was reportedly filmed at the luxurious Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer in March. The contestants, along with host Karan Johar, shot for nearly two weeks at the heritage property. According to several reports, the show will also feature several well-known names, including Rhea Chakraborty, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives fame Shalini Passi and veteran actor Dalip Tahil. Other reported contestants include Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, television actor Rubina Dilaik, Splitsvilla winner Soundous Moufakir, Krystle D’Souza and Parul Gulati, actor-producer Harman Baweja, and Shahneel Gill, sister of Indian cricketer Shubman Gill.
However, the makers are yet to reveal the confirmed list of contestants.
