Thalapathy Vijay is reportedly planning to extend his support to the makers of Jana Nayagan following setbacks caused by alleged piracy leaks and production delays. According to industry buzz, the star
may collaborate once again with KVN Productions to help compensate for the financial losses incurred during the film’s troubled journey.
India Today has reported that Vijay has assured the makers that he’d take care of the losses. Word has it that the actor could do one more film to help the producers with the loss incurred.

Vijay Deverakonda wrote, “The Jana Nayagan leak makes me angry. I’ve experienced personally the pain and sense of loss when something like this happens, early in my career. You feel like a target, you feel a loss of hope, it’s not just about me, there are co-actors, directors, producers, and so many who have all their dreams on the line.”Many other celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Sivakarthikeyan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and others condemned Jana Nayagan leak. Rajinikanth wrote that the leak of the film has caused ‘shock and pain’ and that film associations must raise their voice against the issue of piracy.

Recently, Thalapathy Vijay’s final film ‘Jana Nayagan’ got leaked online. The producers of Jana Nayagan have initiated legal action against the source of the leak, with further proceedings underway. KVN Productions LLP, the producers of Jana Nayagan, issued a firm statement, warning action against the violators, stating that every digital action is traceable and urged audiences not to engage with or spread the leaked footage.
The producers asked viewers who had come across the leaked clips to refrain from engaging with it further and to delete any copies immediately. “The public is hereby strictly advised not to engage in any manner with such leaked content. Any person found involved shall face immediate legal action at their own risk as to consequences. If you receive such content, do not open, store, or forward it. Delete it immediately,” they wrote.
Vijay’s fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Jana Nayagan, especially as the film is touted to be his final cinematic outing before he transitions fully into politics. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju, alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain and Priyamani.
While the film was initially set to release on 9 January 2026, it has since been indefinitely delayed due to issues between the producers and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
