Diwali, the festival of lights, laughter and love, turned out to be extra special for a few delivery persons in Hyderabad. The riders, who work tirelessly around the clock to meet the growing demand for instant
deliveries of groceries and other essentials, received a sweet surprise from a digital creator. Instead of just accepting his deliveries, the man decided to celebrate the festival with those who make those possible.
In a video shared on Instagram, the creator ordered boxes of sweets from various instant delivery platforms like Swiggy, Blinkit, BigBasket and Zepto. All the assigned delivery persons arrived with their orders, only to get a surprise from the creator. Instead of receiving the parcels himself, when the delivery partners arrived, he surprised each of them by gifting them sweets right back and wishing them a “Happy Diwali.”
The Creator Explained He Wanted To Make Diwali Special For Delivery Partners
One by one, as the delivery persons arrived, he kept receiving the orders and handing those over to them as a gesture of kindness during the festivities. He shared the video with the caption, “This Diwali, we decided to sweeten the smiles that make our deliveries special. Ordered sweets from different apps @letsblinkit @blinkitstores @blinkitdeliverypartners @swiggyindia @swiggy_deliverypartners @zeptonow @bigbasketcom — but gifted them right back to the heroes who deliver happiness every day.”
