Ajay Devgn, who is riding high on the success of Drishyam: The Conclusion, has already started work on his next project. If a report is to be believed, Ajay Devgn is planning another release around the same
time in 2027 as well, and for that, he has started work on his next film, Chauhaan.
As per Bollywood Hungama, Devgn has reached Ladakh for the shoot of Chauhaan. A source told the portal, “Ajay Devgn is shooting for Chauhaan in Kargil. He arrived here a few days ago and has already begun filming. Some key scenes will be shot in this picturesque town. The makers had obtained the necessary permissions in advance and have made elaborate arrangements to ensure that the shoot goes smoothly.”
The source continued, “It’s quite cold here in Kargil, and the weather will surely add an authentic touch to the scenes of Chauhaan.”
Ajay is shooting in Ladakh after decades. Earlier, the actor had shot in the Union Territory in 2003 for J. P. Dutta’s war film LOC: Kargil.
Chauhaan Teaser
The teaser of Chauhaan, which was unveiled in June, offers a glimpse of Ajay Devgn in a commanding avatar. He is seen sporting an all-black look while the iconic song ‘Jumma Chumma De De’ plays in the background. The teaser ends with the impactful dialogue, “Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai” (Tell the Pathaans, Chauhaan is coming), which has sparked excitement among fans and grabbed attention online.
Chauhaan is directed by Neeraj Yadav and jointly produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L. Rai, and Himanshu Sharma under the banners of Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions. The Ajay Devgn-led action drama is slated to hit theatres on October 1, 2027.
