one day ahead of its global release, and the ticket sales for the same indicate that the makers are in for another blockbuster.
As per sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in the domestic and international markets for its opening weekend, just days before its theatrical release, marking one of the greatest debuts for a Bollywood film in recent times.
Dhurandhar 2’s Global Collection
In India, the film sold over four lakh tickets for its paid premiere show. As of now, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed over 21.50 crore in India for its March 18 screening. Other markets, particularly North America, are contributing significantly to advancing sales. The worldwide pre-sales for the full opening weekend are estimated to be around 35 crores. Advance sales abroad have already crossed the opening weekend numbers for the first Dhurandhar, indicating a considerably higher global expectation for the sequel.

Tickets for these preview shows are currently available through online retailers such as BookMyShow and District. According to trade sources, preview screenings will begin between 4 and 5 p.m. on March 18, depending on the theatre. Many theatres are putting on extra shows that evening to accommodate the strong demand from fans. While the previews will take place throughout India, they will not be available in every city.
Dhurandhar, which debuted in December, became a massive box office success, generating about Rs 1300 crore worldwide. The sequel tells the narrative of Indian spy Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi and portrayed by Ranveer Singh. On Saturday, Jio Studios and B62 Studios unveiled the official trailer for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. The nearly four-minute preview plunged viewers into the gritty world of Jaskirat Singh Rangi and gave a taste of the film’s high-octane espionage drama.
