Border 2 continues to enjoy a solid run at the box office, drawing steady footfalls and positive word of mouth from audiences across the country. As the film maintains its momentum, the cast and team marked
the moment with a small celebration held at the T-Series office in Mumbai.
The get-together saw the presence of lead star Sunny Deol, who has received praise for his powerful screen presence, along with Varun Dhawan, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Ahan Shetty, Anya Singh and Medha Rana. Members of the production and creative teams were also part of the gathering, coming together to acknowledge the collective effort behind the film’s success.
Sonu Nigam sings Ghar Kab Aaoge
One of the highlights of the evening was singer Sonu Nigam, whose soulful track Ghar Kab Aaoge has struck an emotional chord with listeners. Sonu performed the song live at the event, delivering it without any musical backing. A video of the performance, shared by a paparazzi page, quickly grabbed attention for its raw and heartfelt feel. Palak Muchhal, who sang Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai for the film, was also present and interacted warmly with the team.

Border 2 box office
Border 2 began its box office journey on a strong note and quickly picked up pace over its extended opening weekend. In its first four days, the film collected around Rs 180 crore, with Republic Day alone bringing in a huge Rs 59 crore. Positive audience response played a big role in the film’s rise, with collections nearly doubling from Friday to Monday as word of mouth kicked in.
As expected, Tuesday saw the film register its first dip in numbers. Even then, the drop was modest, with Border 2 managing to earn more than Rs 19 crore net in India. At the end of five days, the film’s domestic total stands at approximately Rs 199.50 crore net, translating to about Rs 235.40 crore in gross collections.
The film has also made a solid impact overseas. After Tuesday, Border 2 is estimated to be hovering around the 4.5 million dollar mark in international markets. With strong performances both in India and abroad, the film’s worldwide earnings have reached an impressive Rs 275 crore within just five days.
