Taylor Swift is showing just how big her heart is. As she nears her 36th birthday on December 13, the pop superstar has gifted a whopping $197 million in bonuses to everyone who worked on her Eras Tour
over the past two years. The incredible moment was captured in her docuseries The End of an Era, leaving her crew shaking their heads in pure disbelief.
The generosity started during the first leg of the North American tour, which wrapped up in August 2023, when Swift handed out over $55 million in bonuses. By the time the tour ended in December 2024 in Vancouver, the total had reached $197 million. Every single member of the team benefited — from dancers, choreographers, and the band to truck drivers, caterers, security, lighting and sound crews, wardrobe, hair and makeup, physical therapists, and the video team.

In the docuseries, Swift explained why the bonus mattered so much to her: “Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me. Because people who work on the road, if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus. And these people just work so hard, and they are the best at what they do.”
One of the dancers, Kameron Saunders, reads out Swift’s personal note and the bonus amount to the team. While the exact figure is censored on screen, the stunned reactions, head shakes, jaw drops, and long pauses, make it clear just how massive it is.
The Eras Tour itself made history, becoming the first tour ever to gross over $2 billion. It spanned 149 shows across 21 countries and 53 cities on five continents. Merchandise alone brought in roughly $400 million, adding to the tour’s record-breaking haul.
