Several students and parents have taken to X to express growing concern over the delay in the release of the UGC NET June 2026 answer key, urging the National Testing Agency (NTA) to publish it at the earliest.
The delay has sparked widespread frustration among aspirants, many of whom say the answer key is crucial for assessing their performance and planning the next steps for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) eligibility, PhD admissions, and Assistant Professor recruitment.
Amid mounting anxiety over the delay, aspirants have flooded social media with demands for greater clarity from the NTA. Some users have also raised concerns over alleged paper leak rumours, questioning the transparency of the examination process.
One user wrote on X, “UGC NET June 2026 exam ended on 5th July. It’s been over 3 weeks — still no answer key from NTA. Students need it for JRF eligibility, PhD admissions, and Assistant Professor cutoffs. When is it coming, NTA?”
Another user posted, “New Education Minister appointed. But UGC NET aspirants are asking the same old question: WHERE IS THE ANSWER KEY? 21 days. No key. No word on the leak rumours.”
A third user wrote, “Lakhs of UGC NET June 2026 aspirants are still waiting. We fulfilled our responsibility by appearing for the exam. Now it’s your responsibility to ensure a timely and transparent evaluation. Release the UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key NOW.”
Echoing similar sentiments, another aspirant said, “22 days have passed since the UGC NET June 2026 exam concluded. There has been no answer key and no official communication from NTA. As thousands of aspirants remain in limbo, a timely update is not just expected—it is essential.”

The National Testing Agency conducted the UGC-NET June 2026 examination in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between June 22 and June 30, 2026. Nearly four weeks have passed since the exams concluded, but the agency has yet to issue any official update regarding the provisional answer key or the declaration of results.
