Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 continues its unstoppable march at the box office, entering the coveted ₹500 crore club within just five days of its release. The
Aditya Dhar directorial has rewritten record books yet again, collecting a massive ₹65 crore on its first Monday, proving that weekday drops are no match for its momentum.
The spy thriller, produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, has emerged as a phenomenon, not just in India but globally. With a total net collection of approximately ₹519 crore in five days, Dhurandhar 2 has cemented its position as one of the fastest Hindi films to achieve this milestone.
Dhurandhar 2 Historic Monday Holds Strong
Despite the usual weekday dip, Dhurandhar 2 managed to pull in ₹65 crore on Day 5, reflecting strong audience retention across markets. While occupancy saw a drop compared to the weekend highs, the film continued to run to packed houses in several regions, maintaining its dominance over competitors.
The film’s day-wise trajectory highlights its extraordinary run. After a solid start with previews, it surged through its opening weekend with collections consistently crossing ₹100 crore on multiple days. Even on Monday, which traditionally sees a significant decline, the film delivered numbers that most releases struggle to achieve even on opening day.
This consistent performance has helped the film shatter several benchmarks. It now holds the record for the biggest extended opening weekend for a Bollywood film, both domestically and worldwide. Additionally, it has become the highest Hindi earner at the Indian box office across its first four days.
Dhurandhar 2 Record-Breaking Run Continues
Dhurandhar 2 has achieved several unprecedented feats in its opening stretch. It is the first Hindi film to net ₹100 crore in a single day twice and has also recorded ₹75 crore-plus collections in a single language for four consecutive days — a milestone rarely seen in the industry.
The film’s appeal lies in its gripping narrative and high-octane storytelling. Set against the volatile backdrop of Lyari in Karachi, the story blends covert intelligence operations with real-life geopolitical events such as the Kandahar hijack, the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The sequel delves deeper into Ranveer Singh’s character, charting the transformation of Jaskirat Singh Rangi into Hamza Ali Mazari. It explores his rise within the underworld while peeling back layers of his past, adding emotional depth to the action-heavy narrative.
Backed by a strong ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, the film continues to draw audiences in large numbers.
