Working with Shah Rukh Khan completely changed the life of his former security chief Yaseen Khan. He revealed that during his time with the actor, he travelled the world in private planes, stayed in five-star
hotels and even had eight passports filled with stamps. Speaking about the experience in a chat with Hindi Rush, Yaseen said, “My life was whatever Shah Rukh sir’s life was. I used to travel around the globe in private planes, stay in five star hotels, and had eight passports completely stamped. When I joined Shah Rukh sir, I saw a plane for the first time.” Yaseen worked closely with Shah Rukh and his family for a decade, from 2001 to 2011. Over the years, he not only saw the scale of the superstar’s life but also got a close look at his personal side, especially as a father.

A hands-on father behind the scenes
Talking about Shah Rukh’s bond with his children – Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan – Yaseen said the actor was deeply involved in their lives. “He’d always attends their sports programmes. He’d drop them to school whenever he was in town irrespective of how exhausted he was. The best thing about him was that even when he was shooting in the US, he’d study on his own and then teach his children online for their exams,” he said.
Family time and simple moments
According to Yaseen, the actor would take a two-month break every year to spend time with his family in London. During these trips, they would often play football together at Hyde Park with friends and family, including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. “In my 10 years, I’d never seen him tell Gauri bhabhi, ‘I’m tired, I won’t come.’ He’s always ready for family,” he said, referring to Gauri Khan.

Yaseen also shared memories of knowing Aryan and Suhana since their school days. He added, “Aryan is a very nice kid. Right from the start, he used to treat the elders with respect. Shah Rukh sir has always taught him that.”
Life after Shah Rukh Khan
Yaseen left his role in 2011 due to personal reasons. He said Shah Rukh supported his decision and told him he could return anytime. In 2015, he started his own security company, YK PROSEC, which now handles VIP protection and major events. His firm has worked on high-profile weddings, including those of Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani and Akash Ambani-Shloka Ambani.
