As the year 2025 came to an end, Sussanne Khan shared a video clip, looking back at her memories from the year that went by. She opened up about the pain of losing her mother Zarine Khan last year, and
called 2025 a year that ‘broke her heart’, and stole her ‘most precious human being’. However, Sussanne expressed her hopes for 2026, and said that she will learn to take it one day at a time, drawing strength from the love and grit instilled in her by her mother.

On Friday, Sussanne Khan took to her Instagram to share a video montage featuring precious memories from 2025. “Recap of the year. My 2025 story,” read the text on the video. The video featured lovely moments featuring her sons Hrehaan, Hridaan, sisters Farah Khan Ali, Simone, and other loved ones. The video also features two adorable pictures of Sussanne with her mother Zarine Khan. In her caption, Sussanne wrote, “2025 you broke my heart…you stole me of my most most precious human being. But I will learn to keep at it one day at a time.. together with the grit and the love and strength of my Angel in my heart..2026 Bless us all… to love better and to be the better versions of ourselves.” Check out the post below!

Zarine Khan’s Death
Zarine Khan’s passing on November 7, 2025, marked the end of an era for one of Bollywood’s most graceful families. She suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at her Mumbai residence. A celebrated model and actor from the 1960s, Zarine appeared in films such as Tere Ghar Ke Samne and Ek Phool Do Mali before becoming a respected interior designer.
Her last rites were performed at Juhu crematorium according to Hindu rituals, with her son Zayed Khan performing the final rites. Among those present were her daughters Farah, Sussanne, and Simone, as well as her former son-in-law Hrithik Roshan, and several members of the film fraternity who came to pay their respects.
