Royal Challengers Bengaluru fast bowler Rasikh Salam Dar entered his name in the history books on Sunday (May 31) by becoming only the second uncapped player to take three or more wickets in an IPL final.
The 26-year-old cricketer bowled four overs for the Rajat Patidar-led side in the IPL 2026 final on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad against Gujarat Titans and picked up three wickets for 27 runs in four overs.

His superb show with the ball helped RCB restrict GT to 155/8 in 20 overs after Rajat Patidar opted to bowl first upon winning the toss.
The record for the best bowling figures in an IPL final by an uncapped player is held by Karanveer Singh. Karanveer bowled four overs for Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab) in the final of IPL 2014 against Kolkata Knight Riders and dismissed four batters for 54 runs.
