Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein is currently in its second week of theatrical run and has achieved a major milestone at the box office. Released on November 28, the film has connected
with audiences through its emotional storyline and powerful performances. Despite strong competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar since Friday, December 5, the film has successfully crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India.
According to a Sacnilk report, the film collected Rs 2.50 crore on Day 11, taking its total Indian box office earnings to Rs 102.50 crore. This marked the film’s lowest single-day collection so far. On the same day, the film recorded a decent audience turnout, with Hindi occupancy at 17.03% and Tamil occupancy at 10.86%.
The film opened with Rs 16 crore on its first day and went on to earn a strong Rs 51.75 crore over its opening weekend. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and Sara-starrer Dhurandhar has already earned Rs 99.50 crore in its opening weekend, emerging as strong competition for other theatrical releases.
Tere Ishk Mein Breaks Previous Records?
Aanand L. Rai’s 2025 film has surpassed the lifetime earnings of his earlier hit, Raanjhanaa. The Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja-starrer had collected Rs 60.22 crore during its theatrical run. Tere Ishq Mein broke this record within just five days of its release. The film also marks Dhanush’s third Bollywood project, following Raanjhanaa (2013) and Shamitabh (2015).

Their relationship deepens in college, but Mukti eventually decides to marry someone else. The film also marks Dhanush’s highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema after a long absence. He made his Hindi debut in Raanjhanaa, directed by Aanand L Rai, nearly ten years ago. His second collaboration with the filmmaker, Atrangi Re, was released on OTT in 2021.
