and lauding her craft. Haq is based on an original story and was released in theatres in November, 2025. It has recently released on an OTT platform.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Alia Bhatt shared the poster of the film featuring Yami Gautam and also penned a sweet note calling the actress ‘queen’. Alia worte, “Queen Yami you are pure craft, heart and all things gold in Haq. One of my top female performances of all time… As I mentioned over the phone too… am a Yami fan waiting eagerly for all your work to once again charm and entertain us all.” Earlier, many celebrities, including Farah Khan has praised Yami’s performance. She even mentioned that the actress deserves an award.

Yami Gautam Thanks Fans For Overwhelming Love On Haq
Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq has finally released on OTT, and it has been receiving a positive response. The actress also took this opportunity to thank her fans once again and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love and appreciation. She shared an emotional note, calling the response “extremely gratifying.
Taking to her X handle, Yami Gautam Dhar thanked fans and also wrote a note for them. “Extremely grateful for such a heartfelt response to HAQ in abundance. The love is truly gratifying for me, both, as an artist & a woman. Jai Hind”. The film delves into issues of gender and justice while sparking important conversations about India’s evolving socio-legal landscape. Haq received largely positive reviews from all but failed to leave a mark at the box office. The film, which was made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, earned nearly Rs 30 crore.
Previously, Yami Gautam also spoke about Haq’s positive reviews and wrote on social media, “The power of ‘Word of mouth’. No foul play or any gimmicks. Straight from our hearts to the audience. Even from a trade & media perspective, I feel a lot of positivity that they want a film like ‘ HAQ’ to be a success. It’s a rarity & I shall cherish this moment for life.”

Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi starrer Haq has finally been released on OTT. On Friday, Yami took to her X handle and revealed that her movie is now streaming on Netflix. The actress shared a poster of the movie and wrote, “Streaming now on @NetflixIndia #HAQ .” Haq was originally released in theatres in November 2025. The film revolves around Shazia (Yami Gautam Dhar), a woman married to rich lawyer Abbas Khan (Emraan Hashmi). Abbas unexpectedly takes home a second wife and quickly breaks his marriage with Shazia by triple talaq. The video then focuses on Shazia’s legal battle to defend her rights. Sheeba Chaddha and Vartika Singh perform important parts alongside Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi.

Recently, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted meeting Sanjay Leela Bhansali to discuss their upcoming movie, Love and War.
