Sunny Deol has many films lined up in his kitty. He has recently finished shoot of Border 2. And now news is coming that he has finally resumed the shoot of his next film Soorya after three years. Producer
Deepak Mukut mentioned that the actor is shooting the action climax scene. The film shoot began in 2022.
Mid-day has quoted Soorya producer Deepak Mukut saying that the actor is currently shooting action climax sequences with Ravi Kishan and Manish Wadhwa, “We are shooting a massive action scene on a set, reflecting a hospital, constructed at the Golden Tobacco Factory. Action director Ravi Varma is executing it along with a unit of over 350 people. It’s a hand-to-hand combat scene featuring Sunny,” he said.
The producer further also mentioned that Sunny has to fight a case. “So, he is back to his Damini [1993] avatar, doing lots of action and mouthing dramatic dialogues as he seeks justice. This leg will be filmed on a set, in Naigaon perhaps. After that, we will begin post-production. We may release a teaser and trailer this year as we plan to release Soorya in early 2026.” he further added.
Border 2:
Coming back to Sunny, he will be next seen in Border 2 along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. The film is slated to hit the big screens in January 2026. In a conversation with Zoom, Sunny Deol said, “I have just done a little work with Varun till now. Now I am going to be shooting with Diljit and Varun again together, so it’s going well, I hope that we live up to it because it’s very scary.” He added that the anticipation is just like when Gadar 2 released but the actor said “because of that fear, I am not going to let it stop me from doing things. Let’s follow the script and flow with it, and hopefully, we will satisfy the audience’s expectations.”
